Wildflowers
Here are a few of the wildflowers I've seen and photographed over the years. I think the most rewarding experience in photographing Kodiak's nature, is that of the many wildflowers we enjoy. Each summer I find more flowers, some of which are unique to various parts of the road system and some that are only found on mountaintops. Pillar Mountain is a wonderful place to watch a summer sunrise and then take pictures of wildflowers in the early morning sun. You can find iris patches in Kalsin Bay, Pasagshak, and Anton Larsen.
